cuisinais dans la cuisine car je n&#8217;\u00e9tais pas capable de faire autre chose \u00e0 ce moment pr\u00e9cis. On retrouve dans chaque ingr\u00e9dient, dans chaque ustensile, la g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 de la Terre M\u00e8re, les connaissances ancestrales transmises de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration en g\u00e9n\u00e9ration pour atteindre un \u00e9tat de f\u00e9licit\u00e9, cr\u00e9er, \u00e9laborer des nectars et des recettes curatives et nourrissantes, pour la sant\u00e9, la m\u00e9ditation, l&#8217;alimentation, la long\u00e9vit\u00e9, la fertilit\u00e9 ainsi qu&#8217;\u00e0 des fins cosm\u00e9tiques.<br \/>Mais en m\u00eame temps, les traditions, les rituels, le savoir-faire, le comit\u00e9 secret des femmes et la cuisine, qui est le c\u0153ur de la maison familiale, ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 h\u00e9rit\u00e9s des Cara\u00efbes.<\/p><p>Pendant que je faisais frire des boulettes chinoises, que je s\u00e9parais feuille par feuille, que je coupais section par section ce Pak Choy, pour le faire sauter dans des noix de cajou et des piments frais, en l&#8217;assombrissant avec de l&#8217;huile de s\u00e9same et une sauce aux champignons noirs.<br \/>Je pensais \u00e0 la chance que nous avons d&#8217;avoir des aliments fra\u00eechement pr\u00e9par\u00e9s avec autant de saveurs du monde entier. J&#8217;ai eu une impression de d\u00e9j\u00e0-vu, en pensant \u00e0 la chert\u00e9 de la nourriture fra\u00eeche et saine \u00e0 Londres.<\/p><p>C&#8217;\u00e9tait mon moment de gratitude du jour, r\u00e9alisant la chance que j&#8217;avais de conna\u00eetre tant de mani\u00e8res diff\u00e9rentes de cuisiner, d&#8217;\u00eatre assez cr\u00e9atif pour continuer \u00e0 explorer, de la r\u00e9gion des Cara\u00efbes en passant par la Louisiane, l&#8217;Afrique, la Gr\u00e8ce, l&#8217;Italie, la France, la Tha\u00eflande et l&#8217;Inde ; pour montrer votre amour et votre appr\u00e9ciation ; pour \u00eatre simplement en vie.<\/p><p>M\u00eame si nous aimons compliquer beaucoup de choses, j&#8217;ai aussi appris \u00e0 me sentir privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e avec un bon morceau de pain, de l&#8217;huile d&#8217;olive et une tomate ou ma noix de coco ancestrale bonne pour pratiquement tout.<br \/>Je me souviens de mon arriv\u00e9e en Espagne, il y a une vingtaine d&#8217;ann\u00e9es, et des gens qui mangeaient ma cuisine fusion, qui \u00e9taient effray\u00e9s, qui ne savaient pas exactement ce que c&#8217;\u00e9tait, mais qui aimaient tellement \u00e7a que j&#8217;ai fini par cuisiner sur des yachts et dans des restaurants priv\u00e9s.<\/p><p>Je me suis replong\u00e9 dans mes souvenirs d&#8217;enfance \u00e0 Paris, en coupant le dernier morceau de piment d\u00e9congel\u00e9, en pensant \u00e0 la difficult\u00e9 qu&#8217;il y avait alors \u00e0 trouver ou \u00e0 manger ce qu&#8217;ils appelaient de la nourriture &#8220;exotique&#8221;, alors que pour nous, c&#8217;\u00e9taient nos propres plats traditionnels, c&#8217;\u00e9tait notre coin de pays.<br \/>Nous avons toujours eu un lien avec la communaut\u00e9 asiatique, car m\u00eame chez nous, en Martinique, ils importaient et \u00e9changeaient ces \u00e9pices dor\u00e9es, ces ingr\u00e9dients rares et ces saveurs riches.<br \/>Apr\u00e8s tout, notre curry national vient du Sri Lanka et s&#8217;appelle &#8220;Colombo&#8221;, fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de la poudre connue sous le m\u00eame nom.<\/p><p>J&#8217;ai toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 un adepte du curry, entre tous mes m\u00e9langes ethniques et culturels, dans ma maison, j&#8217;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 habitu\u00e9 \u00e0 des plats provenant d&#8217;une partie diff\u00e9rente du monde chaque jour.<br \/>C&#8217;est peut-\u00eatre la raison pour laquelle, j&#8217;embrasse si vite les diff\u00e9rences, et je ne vois pas la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de privil\u00e8ges, de statuts sp\u00e9ciaux menant \u00e0 des injustices.<br \/>Je ne crois pas aux gourous ou aux influenceurs, ni aux \u00e9lites ou \u00e0 la c\u00e9l\u00e9brit\u00e9, et encore moins \u00e0 une intelligentsia ou \u00e0 l&#8217;existence d&#8217;une race humaine sp\u00e9ciale.<br \/>Je crois que chaque \u00eatre humain dans ce monde a quelque chose \u00e0 apporter \u00e0 sa mani\u00e8re, m\u00eame si cela ne va pas dans votre sens ou vous favorise.<br \/>M\u00eame le mauvais ou le mal, pour une raison ou une autre, a sa propre fonction \u00e0 une \u00e9chelle plus globale, lorsqu&#8217;il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;apporter une \u00e9volution ou un changement.<\/p><p>J&#8217;avais \u00e0 l&#8217;esprit le melting pot qu&#8217;est ce monde aujourd&#8217;hui, mais en le regardant toujours d&#8217;un point de vue religieux et europ\u00e9en, impos\u00e9 ou dict\u00e9 aux masses.<br \/>Les symboles et les f\u00eates du christianisme sont partout, \u00e9clipsant les milliers d&#8217;autres spiritualit\u00e9s qui ne sont ni le juda\u00efsme, ni l&#8217;islam, ni l&#8217;hindouisme, ni le bouddhisme&#8230;<br \/>C&#8217;est ainsi que l&#8217;on entend parler de No\u00ebl, de Thanksgiving, de P\u00e2ques, et de tous les autres points marqu\u00e9s dans les pays occidentaux qui sont synonymes du calendrier chr\u00e9tien, pour que les actes de foi et de p\u00e9nitence se mat\u00e9rialisent dans cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/p><p>Qu&#8217;en est-il du respect des autres existences et manifestations au quotidien, et non des moments ponctuels du temps convertis en campagnes de marketing ?<\/p><p>Avoir de l&#8217;humanit\u00e9 n&#8217;a rien \u00e0 voir avec la religion ou les croyances religieuses, ni avec la race, l&#8217;argent, l&#8217;\u00e9rudition et le pouvoir, mais la spiritualit\u00e9 inclut bel et bien la vie comme dogme ou concept dominant \u00e0 v\u00e9n\u00e9rer, prot\u00e9ger et respecter. Le respect de toutes sortes d&#8217;existences, d&#8217;un monde inclusif, o\u00f9 r\u00e8gnent la tol\u00e9rance et la libert\u00e9 de
